Hi! Thanks for dropping by. I’m a San Francisco-based creative, photographer and producer, and I've been making stuff for a little over 10 years now. The L.P. Jacks quote above does a swell job of summing up my work philosophy, and my life's mission is to create things that make people smile. It's a simple aspiration, but it allows me the flexibility to dabble wherever there's a great idea.
I specialize in developing content (writing, producing video, photography) on tech, food and DIY topics, and have extensive experience ideating and developing content pitches around briefs.
My background is diverse, so my experience runs the gamut. Here's a quick summary:
- I’ve managed high-profile photo productions and directed lighting schemes for numerous shoots including President Obama in the Oval Office for TIME, Lebron James for Nike, Jay-Z for People, and many more.
- As an editor at Parade I carved an unusual niche as a fun-food expert, spearheading creative projects that led to branded partnerships with Hershey’s, Nestle, Reynolds, Walmart and Twentieth Century Fox.
- I've produced and hosted numerous how-to videos, including one with The Muppets Swedish Chef in which I help him create a cookie version of himself. It was surreal and probably the coolest thing I've ever done. It was a collaboration with Disney and Walmart. You can watch it here.
- In my current role I develop branded content campaigns in-house at CBS Interactive, directing creative and editorial for clients like Ubisoft, Stella Artois, Qualcomm and Moto.
